High Desert Sky Observatory

Here you will find pictures, with running commentary, of our adventure of having an observatory added to our home as a room addition. As a WAF, there is also a home gymnasium incorporated into the room.

The permit phase began in the middle of October/2005 and lasted two to three weeks. Construction began in late October and was finished toward the end of March/2006. Our good friend Frank Wicks did the site planning for the permits and some of the initial design work. Mike Carabeo and his great associates Jose & Jesus did most all of the work.

The whole project came out great and there isn't a thing we would change.
